About The JDF
Our Confederation shapes the working life with roadmaps and projects
that are in line with the requirements of the digital age, embracing
stakeholders and based on labour peace. Joint Dialogue Forum (JDF)
emerged as a cornerstone of social dialogue processes where
government, workers and employers organizations are convened to take
joint actions for the issues in Turkish working life.
Organized for the first time in 2019 with a social benefit
understanding, the 1st JDF identified Environment, Elderly, People
with Disabilities, Women and Children as its main topics. The
decisions taken in the joint working groups gathered under these
topics were announced in the final declaration. A special session on
occupational health and safety was also held within the scope of the
forum. Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, former Minister of Family, Labor and
Social Services, Chairpersons of Türk-İş, Hak-İş, DİSK, and workers
and employers' unions came together in this forum for the first
time.
Organized for the second time in 2020 under pandemic restrictions,
the JDF covered topics such as Industry-Oriented Workforce
Transformation, Women's Future in the Future of Our Work and Digital
Transformation in New Generation Unionism. With the Together
Possible Turkey slogan and the main theme of Future of Work, the JDF
broke new ground by using augmented reality technology for the first
time in a digital forum in the world. The event was awarded in the
Use of Technology/Use of Digital Technology category at the Best
Event Awards with the use of augmented reality technology, in the
Virtual Event/Virtual Event category at the 11th Global Eventex
Awards, and finally in the Association Meeting category at the
Stevie Awards.
